The German silver mouthpiece has a pleasant, sweet taste. This encourages chewing and salivation.
Lozenge reduces the nutcracker action and takes unwanted pressures off the edges of the tongue as well as reducing the pressure on the palate.
The D-Rings prevent the bit from being pulled through the horse’s mouth, so it lies more steadily on the tongue giving a more comfortable feeling.
